Her name is Pink... and I was really glad to meet her!
Ahh, PinkPantheress! I'm such a huge fan of her and her work. I had the absolute privilege of attending a show from the 2026 leg of her Fancy That tour. It was amazing! I had so much fun and I enjoyed every minute of the show. As someone who has followed PinkPantheress since she started posting her tracks in 2021, it gives me so much joy to witness how much she has grown as an artist and a performer. I'm so very proud of her, and I'm truly inspired by her story. Her Fancy That era is seriously soooo iconic, on an international scale! I love the entire theme of this era-- all the colors and the patterns. This is the most plaid and tartan print I've seen in a while. It's kitschy, it's unique, it's artsy, it's loud, it's unforgettable. So much whimsy and fun packed into a 20 minute mixtape and I can't get enough of it!
My concert experience was really exciting. I bought tickets to the show literally the minute they released. I won't lie, I splurged for the VIP early entry tickets. Were they expensive? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not! With the VIP tickets, I was able to enter the venue early, I got some exclusive VIP merch plus first dibs at the regular merch table, and I was able to claim a great spot right in front of the stage. I do remember needing to use the bathroom right before Pink got on stage, but I held it the entire time. LOL. There was no way I was forfeiting my spot. I needed to experience this concert up close in all its glory. And that I did. Full bladder and all.
Some pics of what I wore to the concert! I met a nice girl who snapped some photos of me while we were waiting to get in.
I've been to one PinkPantheress concert before this one. It was a couple years ago during her Capable of Love tour for her first studio album, "Heaven Knows." That show was wonderful, but nothing prepared me for the stunning performance she put on for Fancy That. I am so impressed by how much she's developed as a performer! Pink was absolutely gorgeous as she came onto the stage, opening with the song "Stateside." It's such a fun song, and it was so cute how she played into "going stateside" to perform for us here in the States. The opening set had an airport background as she lugged a suitcase across stage as if she just hopped off a flight. Hahaha!
The one, the only, PinkPantheress!
It's so amazing to see Pink be more comfortable and confident on the stage. In some of her interviews, she did express how shy she would feel on stage, especially when she was first performing for crowds. She would work hard towards developing her stage presence and being able to control the crowd's energy. Her hard work and dedication have certainly paid off, considering how successful and iconic this tour was! The dance numbers, the outfits, the unique playfulness and carefree nature of it all. Her confidence, her demeanor, her attitude, her charm. She has really made a name for herself, and she's not backing down anytime soon.
She doesn't need her purse anymore! But she'll keep it handy, just in case.
Not only did Pink perform songs from Fancy That, she also included songs from Heaven Knows, including "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2", "The Aisle", and a really good remix of "Another Life." She also performed some of her other singles such as "Angel", "Turn Your Phone Off", and "Close To You." Of course, she also included her classic songs such as "Break It Off", "Pain", and a few others from To Hell With It. Her setlist was pretty good and made for a great show. I know the running joke in the past was that her concert would "only last 15 minutes" because of how short her songs tend to run. Well, she now has an extensive catalog of songs and remixes, and even with her shorter songs, she was able to keep everyone moving and grooving for an hour and a half!
A short edit of some footage I took at the concert-- front row!
Her backup dancers truly added so much to the show. They were really good! I loved all their choerography and you could just tell that they were having so much fun with it. (Forgive me, I don't know their names, but) the two female backup dancers had KILLER dance breaks! It was like one big party. Ugh, I wish I could relive that concert. The energy was through the roof.
Her backup dancers were outstanding! And who can forget DJ Joe?!
I especially want to comment on Pink's wardrobe during the show. I am so fascinated with how playful the outfits were with tartan and plaid print, which have become part of Pink's brand at this point. Everytime I go to the thrift store and see a plaid dress or anything with that pattern, I'm immediately reminded of PinkPantheress. To be honest, plaid/tartan is not really a pattern that I wear on the regular. However, after seeing how stylish Pink looks while wearing plaid, I'm inclined to look for some plaid pieces to wear! It's almost fall, so I could totally style a nice plaid skirt with a sweater top. I can't guarantee that I will be wearing tartan tights anytime soon... but I will admit that they do look really cute and girly-pop with a nice pair of ballet flats.
I have so many pairs of ballet flats, partly because I've been so influenced by Pink. She wears ballet flats in a lot of her casual outfits, and I've been convinced to do the same. They really are nice, classy casual shoes to wear that can elevate even the most basic outfit. The specific flats that Pink wore during her concert are Tieks, a luxury shoe brand that specializes in high-quality flats. Their most recognizable feature are the turquoise, or "Tiek blue" rubber soles that all their shoes have. Their flats come in every color imaginable and are made of Italian leather. Pink wore a red pair and a blue pair with her outfits. I would probably shop for some pink or brown ones if I ever feel like buying a pair. I hear that they're comfortable shoes, but others say they aren't worth the price... Their cheapest pairs are a little over $200.
Another part of her wardrobe that I really admire are the very colorful bras she wore, whether it was with a sheer cover-up or decorated with lace trim. It's such a daring fashion choice-- bold, intentional, confident, and undeniably feminine. I am reminded of another iconic female singer, Selena Quintanilla, who also incorporated bras into her outfits when she would perform. Selena initially got pushback from her father for wearing her bras (based on what I heard from her biographies). Nevertheless, she kept rocking her bras and decorating them in unique ways, so much so that some of her most recognizable outfits include bras adorned with beads and rhinestones! I wonder if Pink drew inspiration from Selena when coming up with her tour outfits. Pink has referenced Selena in the past, as she interpolated Selena's song "Dreaming of You" into her song "Turn It Up." What icons, both of them!
This outfit was my favorite-- I love the frilly skirt detail and how she incorporates that tartan pattern. Also, mad props to the drummer! He was INSANE.
In conclusion, PinkPantheress put on an outstanding show. I could barely contain myself once it ended! That post-concert depression definitely hit like a truck the next day. I remember wearing the hoodie I got from the concert outside in the hot April heat, but I didn't care. I had such a great time!
Her Fancy That era has been so fun to witness. From Coachella to Glastonbury, she's been making her mark as a pop girlie icon, performing for massive sold-out crowds worldwide. She's a very talented artist who's truly tapping into her potential, and I'm curious to know what's next to come.
